From #43- The reason I moved into Mountain View Estates was that I had heard nothing but good things about the community and the homes offered. I moved in the park in April 2005 and feel very safe and appreciate the fact the management keeps the park looking nice and clean. I always look forward to the summer when I can get out and plant flowers. The park manager, who lives on site, has helped me in every way they possibly can and they want me to be happy living here. Since I am presently disabled it is nice to me that I live in a community that is clean and no trash is laying around the streets and do not have junk cars here. We have street lighting and at least two car parking for us all. From #71- I have lived in Mountain View Estates for 111/2 years. When I moved here Mr. Roden was very helpful in helping us find a home. The park is kept clean and I feel very safe living here. From #39- We are now in our 70's and had reached the point in our lives that mowing, raking leaves, and the exterior maintenance needed for our home was not what we wanted to do all the time. So we moved from our two story house and downsized into a 1680 sq. ft. home all on one level which we love having no steps. We were able to sell our home and remodel our present home that will accomadate our lives for the future and the difference we made from the sale we will invest and use the interest to live and enjoy our lives. By downsizing and moving into Mountain View Estates we do not have to share a roof, floor or ceilings with others and we are able to watch our birds and plant flowers or veggies if we want, and someone else can mow the yard for me. We live on a nice corner lot, park right at our front door, and sit and swing on our covered back porch listening to the geese flying overhead and watching the bluebirds and cardinals eat from their feeders. Our move has been a positive experience for us, but also the financial aspect of it was all good. We dropped our property taxes where we lived, as well as our homeowners insurance rates decreased. Our water and sewer rate is much lower, gas is cheaper and we pay no sales tax on groceries. We now heat and cool a smaller home which means less electricity costs each month. Our choice to buy our 3 BR-2 BA home instead of more costly townhouses or condo's allows us to live well within our means and have extra each month to do the things we always have wanted to do. Years of living in Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa Florida before my retirement was a constant worry of hurricanes and traffic. Not here. Much of the winter here is always above freezing and very little snow if any to contend with. All the entertainment and social life anyone could ever want is just minutes away in Chattanooga Tennessee, just a stones throw away from Mountain View Estates. Our doctors, shopping and of course Wal-Mart are just minutes away also. We love it here. You will also.
We found this to be no ordinary trailer park but a locally owned and operated manufactured housing community. We have enjoyed a good long time friendship with our neighbors, and appreciate not only how accesible and handy the location is to everything but the management maintains a high standard of excellence regarding the properties appearance and conduct of the residents in the park. Since our daughter and her two kids live in the community also with
us, we enjoy an excellent new elementary school across the street from our home From #24- We moved in Mountain View Estates
in Feb. of 1998 because we were looking for a nice and safe community. We have been
very pleased in the fact that the park is kept clean and neat and if we have a problem, no
matter how big or small the management gets right on it. |
